Welcome to Speech Computing!

If you are looking for VoiceGroup (started on Yahoo Groups in 1998), this is our new home.  If you are new to voice recognition or speech recognition and its use you have found the right place. Glad to have you here!

We hope you find this a friendly, useful Speech Recognition community. You may find answers, useful tips and techniques for programs such as Dragon NaturallySpeaking, IBM ViaVoice, Vista Speech Recognition and others.

Many of our members use Speech Recognition daily in areas such as medical, legal, captioning, indexing, translating, transcription, book authors, court reporting and general office work. Other members have moved to computing by speech due to physical challenges such as RSI, Carpal Tunnel, Quadriplegia and other disabilities in their lives.

If Your Message Doesn't Post

If you post a message or comment and it seems to disappear, don't think it didn't post. All messages and comments are examined to check for spam. If the system thinks it may be spam, it is held in a queue for me to delete or approve. So if you post something and it doesn't seem to work, odds are that it's being held for me to look at.
