{Off Topic}Let the Katrina Disaster Be An Opportunity to Rebalance Your Charitable Giving Portfolio

Since the last big disaster, the tsunami off Indonesia, we let our charitable givings continue at the same levels after we rebalanced them at that time. Since our net worth has improved since then, that means that we weren't giving as much as we should according to our guidelines. The only good thing about the Katrina disaster is that is has allowed us to rectify this lapse, plus add a penance fee to carry us forward.
Given the lame-brained response of other parties, our call to help is even greater than it might otherwise be.
