An internal recogniser error has occurred. Naturally speaking may be in an unstable state, so you should save your work immediately and then close and restart the program.

SDAPI Error 1: Error :[mrecutil\realdf 3] SDEnvHolder_Open:

Any help greatly appreciated

Tom,

Internal recognizer errors are either Registry/application or User corruption. Generally these are registry/application file corruptions. Try doing a repair first and let us know what happens (i.e. did that solve the problem).

Also, Is this happening on startup or is it occurring in a specific application after DNS loads? Also, after you get the error, check your dragon.log file for the DNS start time during which the error occured. There is usually more information here. You may not understand what the dragon.log is showing, but if you can share it with us, I can help interpret it.

Chuck, the IS Department re-installed version 7.3 then version 8 upgrade and this has solved the prblem.

The SDAPI error was as I suspected, a registry issue. Glad you got it fixed.Eye-wink
