Wish I could comment on this

Wish I could comment on this but not much I can put into it. You'll probably have to look into compatibility charts to figure this out.

Would be interesting to know though. I use M$ Money now, but used Quicken a long time ago. Got away from Quicken because it always seemed to have computational errors back then. That was when they were first starting with it though.

Perhaps those more knowledgeable will be able to enlighten us.

Quicken vs. Microsoft Money

Skip,

How does DNS work with Microsoft Money. As far as Quicken is concerned, even up as far as Quicken 2008, there are problems with Active Accessibility. Command buttons and some features are not accessible by voice command. For example, you cannot say "OK" or "click OK"and some other command buttons and functions are not accessible by voice.

However, all text Windows in Quicken seem to be fully Select-and-Say enabled.

Overall dictation seems to be supported completely in all Windows, but navigation has its Yeses and No's.

I use Quicken Home & Business 2008 and I can live without the navigation snafus as long as the text dictation works properly.

I've never tried it. The machine that has M$ Money is too slow to use DNS actually (933Mhz/512MB RAM) though it does have DNS 8 installed on it.

I use use it without SR for right now as my entries are few.

Maybe one day I'll install it on the faster machine though it is M$ Money 2004 Deluxe version (a bit dated).
